Arwa Yemeni Coffee is honored to be named Best Local Coffee Shop in Dallas Observer’s 28th annual Best of Dallas publication.
In its second full year of business, Arwa Yemeni Coffee has been highlighted for two different awards: Best Local Coffee Shop and Best Late-Night Spot for Non-Drinkers. This years publication now makes it the three times that Arwa Yemeni Coffee has been awarded in the renowned publication.
Arwa Yemeni Coffee was founded in 2021 by Nora Soofi, Yazan Soofi, and Susan Shihab as Texas’ first Yemeni coffee shop concept. It is known for its fresh, in-housted roasted beans sourced directly from Yemen and serving coffees and teas in authentic and original methods. It boasts a beautiful aesthetic that truly transports all who enter.
“I’ve been reading articles produced by the Dallas Observer for years. It is surreal that we have been honored by such a well-known publication” said co-founder Susan Shihab. “From day one, we set out to make this more than a coffee shop but truly a celebration of culture. And I am so happy that it has been well-received by the DFW community.”
